The 2020 Premier’s Award in Energy and Mining recognised Digital Twinning Australia’s achievement for its Digital Twin Platform development at St Mary’s College, Adelaide.

A digital replica of the new solar energy system was built and live operating data imported to create a Synchronising Digital Twin. This allows the students to use it as a STEM learning tool, and to assess the value of building a Virtual Power Plant. We are conscious that the school-leavers of 2030 are in Grade 3 right now. With this in mind there is no time like the present to begin instilling digital skills, so they are ready to drive South Australia’s smart future workforce.

We’re thrilled to have been nominated, as a disruptive Adelaide start-up, alongside industry behemoths such as BHP, OZ Minerals, Tesla, Santos and the University of Adelaide.
